Grand Rapids 60 Hour Michigan Prelicensure Classroom Course | November 2nd - 7th, 2026
This program meets all Michigan prelicense requirements for contractors and includes a comprehensive online exam prep program to help you prepare for the test.
NOTE: All licensed builders must have a copy of the Michigan Residential Code Book. It is also required for the code portion of this course. The Carpentry & Building Construction book is optional but highly recommended. Both books can be purchased here.
Description
The purchase of this course also includes the Exam Prep Refresher package which contains all the subjects you should focus on when studying for your MI Builders Exam. You’ll be able to review the material and retake the sample quizzes as many times as you wish during your course activity period.
We’ve also included practice tests as well as review courses for both the Business & Law and Trades portion of your exam, plus a Construction Math Review.
