This 14-credit package meets requirements for building code administrators, building inspectors, plan examiners, code compliance officers, and construction inspectors.
Courses Include:
- 2023 Residential Advanced Florida Building Code: This course will help familiarize students with changes to the 2023 Florida Building Code, Residential including wall coverings, roof assemblies, special appliances, equipment, and systems and energy code updates.
- 2010 ADA Standards: Interior Elements: This course covers the requirements of proper plumbing, communication, special rooms and built-in elements according to current ADA standards. Note: Does not contain California Specific Building Code
- Building Green: Learn methods and economic benefits of green building that allow homes to have less impact on the environment and the importance of using these techniques
- Ethics and Morality in the Professional Setting: Learn the fundamental theories of ethics, their weaknesses and how to create a Code of Conduct that accurately reflects your company core values and principles.
- Wind Mitigation: This course is approved for Florida plumbing contractors and covers the regulations governing wind mitigation, and explains wind mitigation in general, and gives the laws and building codes governing wind mitigation.
