Residential Builder Exam Prep


This course will prepare students for the South Carolina Residential Builder exam and is based on the relevant resources listed in the PSI Candidate Bulletin. This examination is limited to construction, remodeling, repair or improvement of one-, two-, or multifamily residences not exceeding three stories in height and/or 16 units in any single apartment building. This course will provide a breakdown of each of the exam topics, followed by hundreds of practice questions.

Note: The building codes of South Carolina adopt the International Residential Building Code with amendments. PSI will allow applicants to use either the  2018 IRC or the 2018 SC IRC. This course is based on the 2018 IRC.
