How do I get my contractor license in Pennsylvania?
Contractors are not licensed at the state level but many local municipalities require a license so check with your local city/county for regulations.
To get your Asbestos Certification, go to the department of labor and Industry.
Are there and Education, Exam or Experience requirements to get my Pennsylvania Contractors License?
Asbestos Abatement Certification requires successful completion of a training course on Pennsylvania’s laws and regulations regarding asbestos and passing a written examination administered or approved by the Department. The Department may allow the use of training courses offered in other states or jurisdictions to satisfy the Pennsylvania training requirements, if the department finds that the training received in the other states or jurisdiction meet the requirements for training courses under the Pennsylvania Accreditation and Certification Act.
