Licenses are due for renewal every 3-years by September 16th.

  1. You must have a builders license or work experience.
  2. Fill out the application provided by the State and submit within 30 days.
    (Page #2 of this application gives further information on specific requirements.)

No, the state of Michigan does not require continuing education be submitted unless they perform an audit. We will keep track of your records for 6-years at no extra cost.

  1. You will receive a renewal reminder within 60 days of your license expiration.
  2. Go to the LARA renewal website on or before the 9/16 deadline.
