Licenses are due for renewal every 3-years by September 16th.
- You must first be hired by a municipality.
- Fill out the application provided by the State and submit within 30 days.

No, the state of Michigan does not require continuing education be submitted unless they perform an audit. We will keep track of your records for 6-years at no extra cost.
- Licensees will receive a statement at the end of April. The statement will show the continuing education hours and courses the licensed individual has completed their license cycle.
Continuing education will need to be completed and submitted before renewing your license. The State of Michigan MUST receive your continuing education no later than 5 p.m. on September 16th. As an approved provider, we submit proof of completing your continuing education to the State of Michigan. If your continuing education is completed prior to 3:30 p.m. on September 16th, we will be able to submit your continuing education on time.
- Around the end of July/ early August, renewal notices will be sent to licensees.
- Licenses will need to be renewed before September 16th of the renewal year.
