Approved for 6 Hour Technical for Building Inspectors, Building Officials, and Plan Reviewers

State Approval #18298 – Credit(s) earned upon completion of this course will be reported to the State of Michigan Department of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth: Bureau of Construction Codes/ Building Division. Certificates of Completion for both Code Officials and non-Code Officials will be available to print upon completion of this course.

Course Description

This six hour video course is a review of the safety codes required for residential construction. Students will be able to understand and describe the basic components of a construction safety program. They will recognize the hazards inherent at a construction jobsite, and describe ways to prevent those hazards. Finally, students will learn the responsibilities of both the employer and the employee in observing established safety practices. This 6-Hour course applies six hours towards Technical credit.
