I just passed the residential builder exam on 6/8/11 (first try. Thanks for the training program at Builders License Training Institute and especially the instructor, Mike Wood who did a great job! I would not have been able to pass this exam if it were not for the great training program. Besides taking the course, I put in an additional 20-30 hours of review. Taking the exam was easier with the class and review. Don't wait too long!

The beauty of taking the lead paint course from Mike and Mark and learning about pre-1978 renovation. The way they explain it, anyone can understand it. They make it easy. Although I was somewhat disappointed on how easy the test seemed (based in how much I studied - a little overkill), if not for some of your insight the results could have been different.

I finished the test in one third of the time required. There was no question -- I knew I passed when I finished the test. 85-90% of the test was covered in this course. When I called the Builders License Training Institute with questions, I was able to talk to an instructor who not only gave me the right answer, he took the time to make sure I understood the subject thoroughly.
