The Builders License Training Institute is an approved participant of the No Worker Left Behind program. This program provides up to $10,000 in free tuition to educate and train Michigan unemployed or under-employed residents. You can enroll in any of our Statewide 60-hour prelicensure courses and receive free tuition, books and exam preparation. Within 60 days of taking our course, you can be licensed as a Michigan Residential Builder on a new career path to financial success.

Qualification Requirements for Funding:
Any Michigan resident who is currently
unemployed or has received a notice of termination or layoff from employment.
- Whose family income is $40,000 or less.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must not have graduated from high school in the last two years.
- And, cannot be a full-time college student.
Eligibility is determined by Michigan WORKS! on a case-by-case
