Michigan Residential Builder
and M&A Contractor

Three Steps to get Licensed:

  1. Complete 60 Hours of Prelicensure Education that has been approved through the State of Michigan.

  2. Send your License Application, Certificates of Completion from the 60 Hours of Education and $195.00 to the State of Michigan and wait two to six weeks for application to be approved.

  3. The State will send you a letter informing you when they have approved the application and you can then schedule your State exam through PSI Examination Services.  Once you have passed both parts of the State exam, you are officially licensed.  The paper copy of your license should arrive in the mail within two weeks.
