How many hours of continuing education do I need to complete?
You are required to complete 4 hours per year to renew your Louisiana Contractors License. You are required to provide proof that you completed 4 hours and send it into the state with your renewal application by December 31st of each year.

4-Hour Construction Safety Standards II This four hour course is a review of the safety codes required for residential construction. Students will be able to understand and describe the basic components of construction safety in Excavations, Crane use, Egress and Fire Protection, Hazard Communication, Tool Safety, and Materials Handling. |

4-Hour Project Management This four hour course focuses on the primary responsibilities of a project manager: managing project costs and time, while completing the project to the expected degree of quality. Proper management of the project before beginning actual construction, as well as during the project, is a crucial aspect. Taking proactive measures will help you determine possible obstacles before they occur. |

What To Expect with our Courses
Online access is immediate and you can come and go as you wish. You are not timed and if you leave the course, when you return you will be taken right back to the spot you left off.
Each chapter in the course has a short multiple-choice quiz at the end. Passing each quiz moves you onto the next chapter. Our courses do not allow you to fail the quiz. Once you achieve 70% on the quiz, you will move on to the next chapter. It's that easy! There is no need to spend time and money going to a classroom.
Upon completion of the course, you will be sent an email with your results and you will be able to print your Certificate of Completion for your files.
