WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN CHOOSING BUILDERS LICENSE EDUCATION

Some companies claim you don't have to have a license or building experience to teach this class. That would be the company to avoid. Yes, anyone can read to you out of a book, but it takes an experienced trades person to teach you building techniques and methods that enable you to answer the test questions accurately. This is not a course of memorization. This is a course of valuable information that is used daily in the building trades. It has to be right. Don't hesitate to ask these pointed questions:

Have the instructors completed the testing process and are they licensed? How can anyone teach something they have not experienced?

Are the instructors experienced trades people?  Ask questions verifying their level of knowledge and experience.

Is there a knowledgeable builder on staff that is continually researching testing information and requirements?. The test questions change frequently. It takes a knowledgeable person to be able to keep up with the new test information and be able to relay it to you.
